We kicked off the New Year with a ton of celebration at our first Community Meeting of 2026. We honored iReady Growth, Students of the Month, and our House Championship Cup!
Allow me to introduce the SHARP Students of the Month of December. These students show all the SHARP habits consistently and we are so proud of them. ✏️
Ask us about our Black History Month Bookclubs! We are deep into Jason Reynold’s “Track” series, Kwame Alexander’s “Crossover,” and Ilyasah Shabazz’s “X”. We can’t wait to share more about our books at our next Community Meeting.
We were honored to host our 7th Annual Awards Night on Friday evening. We are proud of our students!
We distributed Attendance Awards, ASP Awards, House Awards, many sports awards, Academic Awards, Special Recognition for Staff Members, Family Awards, and our Students of the Year. It was a beautiful evening!
Congratulations to our Tigers. We look forward to celebrating you next year, too!🥇🏆

Happy SWANA and Arab Heritage Month! What an absolutely beautiful, bountiful, generous “Families & Flavors” event this afternoon. Our community showed up and showed out. We sampled countless dishes from the Southwest Asian, North African, and Arab culinary traditions: falafel, hummus, baklava, dates, lupini, lavashak, kabya, chai, sambusa, shawarma, sabaya, basbousa, oteria, biryani, and vimto!
Thank you so much to our families, students, and local restaurants @wallyscafe, @memberkeley, and @theshawarmaji for your generous contributions for this amazing event. We wouldn’t be Unity without y’all!
