We had a great morning in District 7 at “Team Up to Clean Up” in honor of Oakland’s MLK 40 Days of Service. We even got to work alongside Council Member, @reidforoakland!
So many neighborhood organizations helped host this event. As residents and essentials workers of D7 and on behalf of our students, thank you for your time, dedication, and care this morning.
Tigers, you can bet we’ll be doing our part to keep our neighborhood looking A1. Looking forward to organized clean-ups on 70th!
Our gram is about to blow up! Here’s an overview of our Tiger’s amazing volcano home lab setups.
In a moment, we’re going to share some amazing volcano setups from our 7th grade scientists. Cast your votes for your favorite setup!
Happy Black History/Futures Month!
We have a couple more #BHMChallenge entries and you know we are going to feature them!
This entry comes to us from a Tiger family member.

Students and families are setting up their home labs for volcanic eruptions this week and we are so excited! Seeing our students engaging in hands-on learning is always important but it’s especially important now. Science!🌋
We are grateful to @alamedacoe for their service throughout this intense time. We’ve been in contact with @alamedacoe and @acphd on a weekly basis for almost a year.
At the end of last week, they hosted the nation’s first @fema Mobile Vaccination Clinic.
The mobile unit “prioritized vaccinations for educational personnel serving students in the communities hit hardest by COVID and its impacts.” As a result, we were able to get appointments for all staff members who’ve been working on campus.
Thank you.
In honor of Huey P Newton’s birthday and Black History/Futures Month, we are looking back at what we got to learn, see, and interact with at the Black Power exhibit at Oakland Museum of California.
We’ve never forgotten this exhibit and we appreciate looking back at these photos. We are looking forward to another field trip there when it’s possible!
DACA Workshop tomorrow! A link to this session was sent out via Parent Square. This workshop will include how to get information on updates, eligibility, and how to apply.
We’ll admit: Mr. Razavi looks a little nervous here but he said it was smooth afterwards! We are grateful to @alamedacoe who hosted the nation’s first @fema Mobile Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
