WOW! Thank you to, @alternativesinaction for sharing this amazing opportunity with our students. OUMS joined them in seeing Cirque du Soleil’s “ECHO” show in San Francisco and we were completely amazed! We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we walked in the “big top” but we quickly learned! So proud of our Tigers for experiencing something new, being a great audience, and asking a question in front of the whole audience. Way to go!🎪
You know we are staying well during cold and flu season with some tea in a “Bunnykins” mug in math class. Two thumbs up for self-care and mathematics.👍🏽👍🏽☕️
Our SHARP Students of the Month of January (and their representatives)! Do you know them? If you do, you know these scholars are always striving for 4s across the board and never settle for less than the best. Way to go, Tigers!🐯
0 subs, 0 problems
Varsity came out strong this weekend and played tough with no subs. Way to go, Tigers!
We celebrated being a “California Distinguished School” with our whole community on Wednesday. Look at all our *distinguished scholars*.
You know we ready! This weekend was a great showing for our Tigers, battling until the end.
Thank you to our student photographer for snapping these photos📸!
ICE.COLD.OVER.HERE🥶!
Our Basketball Tigers had a great showing this weekend, with 3 competitive games. When it comes down to the wire, you can count on total ice in our veins.
Thank you for a wonderful community dinner last night. We shared with one another, played a game, heard from our Student Council about their work with the Alameda County Office of Education, listened to parent testimonies, and committed to actions and efforts to support our school on the road to renewal.
We have a beautiful community who always stands side-by-side.
Shout out to our Parent Coordinators and Families in Action for this great work.
Check out these scholars, too!
These are just some of the scholars who surpassed their mid-year “Typical Growth Goals” in iReady. Some of these students even crushed their “Stretch Growth Goals” for the entire year…by December. For reference, only 20-35% of students meet their “Stretch Growth Goals” in a YEAR—much less a few months. WOW!
Way to go, scholars!🌟
